Socket Mobile wine barcode scanners are small, well-priced and feature excellent scanning speed, distance and battery life.  The basic model CHS7E has our highest recommendation.

Socket Mobile has solved an issue we’ve been grappling with for the past year: you can’t scan your bottles out of CellarTracker from an iPad! With their wonderful new product you can use the bluetooth scanner and the onscreen iPad keyboard simultaneously.  This is unlike most other bluetooth connections, where either the scanner or the keyboard is enabled, but not both.  Check out the case study below that Celle Advisors filmed with them.
